A Tropical Retreat

Local Information
Little Grand Cay
Steven Miller founded little Grand Cay in the late 1800’s, as a result of his fishing excursions to the area. Following his settlement there, several North Abaco families relocated from Crown Haven, Fox Town, Cedar Harbour, Wood Cay and Cooper's Town. The town has a population of just over three hundred persons. Residents rely on commercial fishing including crawfish, scale fish and conch.
Little Grand Cay, which is conveniently located across the bay, has a number of restaurants, marina with fuel and ice, small grocery store, church and an island infirmary.
Walker's Cay
This northernmost island of The Bahamas was settled just before World War II. The deep waters surrounding this cay, along with a well-developed game-fishing resort, have made it one of the most cherished fishing destinations in the islands. It is currently closed for renovation. However, its private airstrip with international clearance as a port of entry remains open. Walker's Cay is the commercial hub of the northern Abaco Cays and will employ a large number of residents of neighboring Little Grand Cay.
